More Information
As standard, the background screen in Platinum behind the menu is either grey or black, depending on your system setup. This can be changed per user to a different colour of your choice. You might for example have two different copies of Platinum for different companies. Changing the background colour would easily identify at a glance which company you were in.
To make the required changes, the logged in user requires access to " Reports & Settings". |
- Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options Systems Administrator Add or Edit Users".
- Click [Search] to bring up a list of users.
- Select [Edit] against the required user.
- Press <F5> to bring up the available colours.
- This brings up a large list of options and colours. The only line you are interested in is the first line entitled 'Background/Blank Lines'.
- Press <Enter>. This takes you across into the list of available colours.
- Now, using the <Tab> and <Up and Down arrows>, navigate your way around the colours until you see the background around the top line title of 'Background/Blank Lines' change to a colour you like.
- Press <Enter> to choose your desired colour.
- Press <Esc>,<Done> and <Accept> to save your changes.
- If you now log out and back into Platinum, your background colour scheme will have changed.
