Retiring a hire item will prevent it from appearing during searches and Hire Item Planning. You can learn more about flagging a status as retired here.

Retiring a hire item

Go to " Booking and Hire Maintenance Options Add or Edit Hire Items".

  • Press [Search] to list the hire items.
You can narrow the search using the "Filter on:" field.
  • Select the hire item from the list and click [Edit].
  • Go to the [Details] Tab.
  • At "Status:" enter the code of the status that has "Retired?" set to 'Yes'.
You can search for the code you want by pressing [Ctrl + F1] here.
  • Press [Done] and [Accept] the changes to retire the hire item.
