Summary
This article explains how to add associations to your stock products.
More Information
Using this will prompt the user as to whether they want to include associated items with the sale.
Creating Stock Associations
Go to " Counter Operations Add or Edit Stock Items"
- Search for or create a stock code
- Press <F5> to get to the Stock Properties screen.
- Press <Shift+F7> to get the Stock Associations screen up.
- Type in or Search for the associated stock items.
- Enter the quantity of this associated item to be included with each base stock item.
- Once you have added all the associated items press <Esc> to save the associations. Press <Esc> again to save the stock item properties.
Selling Stock Associations
Go to " Counter Operations Point of Sale"
- Enter the original base stock item.
- Enter the quantity you wish to sell.
- Once you press <Enter> it will bring up the Stock Associations window.
- By default all of the associated items will be tagged for addition to the sale, press <F5> to untag an individual item or <Ctrl+F5> to untag all items.
- Once you have tagged the required items press <Enter> to add the associated items to the sale.
- Complete the rest of the sale as you would normally.
