How do I create a unit status?

This article explains how to create a new vehicle status.

More information

Go to " Unit Sales Maintenance Options Add or Edit Vehicle Statuses".

• Click [Add] or press <F6> to create a new status.
• In the "Vehicle status" field enter the new status code, this can be anything up to 3 characters long.
• In the "Description" field enter a suitable description for this status.
• To set the text colour for this status tick the box next to "Text" and you can then use the drop down to choose a suitable colour.
• To set the background colour for this status tick the box next to "Background" and you can then use the drop down to choose a suitable colour.
• If you want vehicles with this status to be included in your upload to the web click onto the [Parameters] tab and set "Upload details" to 'Yes'.
• If vehicles with this status are to be considered 'In Stock' and should be included in your vehicle stock value set "In Stock" to 'Yes'.
• Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the new status.
