To correct this you will need to change the {{DataValue|Short Name}} and {{DataValue|Long Name}} to be the name of the person that does te payroll, The {{DataValue|User Code}} can stay the same. For Help on how to change these names click [[How do I set up a New User?#Creating New User|HERE]].

Solution

This error message indicates that the "Long Name" of your user in Platinum is not a "Proper" Name that conforms to the RTI protocol. The "Long Name" needs to consist of a forename and a surname to pass the validation.

E.G.: In the example above the username for the "Payroll" Login has a name of 'PAYROLL'. 'John Smith' would be fine, but 'PAYROLL' or 'Everyone' will not do.

To correct this you will need to change the 'Long Name' to be the name of the person that does the payroll. The 'User Code' can stay the same. For help on how to change these names, click HERE.
