Summary
The defaults for the Metrologic barcode scanners is to scan the barcode exactly as it appears, however some suppliers will use a barcode which includes a leading space. When you scan these barcodes in Platinum the stock code will not be found.
- It is possible to change this so the leading space is removed from the scanned barcode.
More Information
Click here to download a PDF Document of the configuration barcodes that will change your barcode scanner to ignore any spaces within barcodes.
This will remove all spaces from all barcodes that you scan, not just leading spaces so ensure that you have no other barcodes that need to keep the spaces. |
