More Information

What does it do?

This option is designed to allow you to remove old jobs that are no longer relevant. It should be used with great care to ensure that useful information is not removed, and we recommend its use only in extreme circumstances.

Where is it located?

Go to " Workshop Maintenance Options Job Cleardown". This will then pull up a screen where you can specify the Particular Job, or range of Jobs that you wish to remove.

  • "Depot:" - Enter a specific 'Depot' if you wish to clear down a particular depot, else leave blank.
  • "Start at Job:" - Enter in a 'Job Number' starting point.
  • "End at Job:" - Enter in a 'Job Number' ending point. All jobs between the starting and ending point will be removed. Entering the same number for both will only remove that one Job Number.
  • "Status of Jobs to Clear:" - Enter in a 'Status' of a job to be more specific, else leave blank.
  • "Cleardown from Account/Contact:" - Enter the first in a range of customers whose jobs you wish to clear down.
  • "To Account/Contact:" - Enter the last in a range of contacts whose jobs you wish to clear down. As with the "Start at Job:", entering the same Account/Contact for both will only remove jobs for that particular Account/Contact.
  • "Clear Unpaid Jobs:" - This options simply states if jobs have to be fully paid before they can be cleared down?
Remember that the jobs in the range set will be removed from the system and cannot be retrieved.
