More Information
If you are using Platinum Online or Real Time Labour Recording to record labour, then your technicians will be linked to a Platinum user code.
It is important that you do not enter a leaving date on their record until they actually leave else they will be immediately unable to access Platinum or Platinum Online. |
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Add or Edit Users".
- Find the user for that technician.
- Set the "Leaving Date" to the date that they left.
- Click <Done> and [Accept] the changes.
- The leaving date on the technician record will be auto set to the date entered on their employee code.
If you record labour by adding it manually to a job, then please follow this process:
Go to " Workshop Maintenance Options Technicians Labour Rates Add or Edit Labour Codes".
- Click [List] and find the technician in the list.
- Highlight the technician and click [Edit].
- Move to the "Leaving date:" and enter the date that the technician left.
- Click <Done> and [Accept] the changes.
Available Hours
The diary will adjust the available hours from the leaving date onwards to reflect the fact the technician will not longer be available for work.
