Summary

There are a variety of standard reports to allow you to review advisory work. They also allow you to view the financial results of carrying out such work.

More Information

Some of the standard reports will automatically print. Please remember to select a suitable print record, by pressing <Alt+P>, if you wish to view the reports using your pdf viewer.

Go to " Workshop Job Reports Advisory Work Reports".

Where relevant, specify the "Site" and "Date Range" before clicking [Report].

Outstanding work

To produce a report and view a breakdown of outstanding advisory work, see How do I view outstanding advisory work?.

Resolutions

Select [Advisory Resolution Breakdown].

  • This will display a pie chart to show a percentage breakdown of advisories by remedy code.
  • To see the values for each segment of the chart, click the [+ Chart Data] button.

Select [Resolution Revenue Breakdown].

  • This will display a pie chart to show a percentage breakdown of revenue generated by "Remedy Code".
  • To see the values for each segment of the chart, click the [+ Chart Data] button.

Check Sheets

Select [Checks Carried Out].

  • This will list all check sheets printed in the given period.
This only applies to check sheets printed by systems using 'Static' mode. See How do I migrate to interactive unit check sheets? to check what setting your system is using.

Advisory Work & Revenue

Select [Advisory Conversion].

  • This report is designed to show advisories that have an estimate and/or invoice value against them. If you have converted an estimate to an invoice, you will see the percentage conversion rate.

Select [Work Generated From Advisories].

  • This report is designed to show advisories for which a value has been allocated. It shows un-invoiced and invoiced values.
  • The value allocated for items booked out on the [Invoice] tab of the jobcard is displayed.
    • The "In Progress" column displays the total for items not yet invoiced.
    • The "Invoiced" column shows the total value once the job has been invoiced.

Select [Revenue Summary].

  • This report is designed to show the revenue generated by allocating job items to advisories.
  • The revenue will be shown against the month the advisory was first created, e.g. advisories created in September but allocated to job items in December will be shown against the month of September.
  • The total value "Found" will be split between "Sold", items on the [Invoice] tab of jobs, and "Unsold", items on the [Estimate] tab of jobs.
The data will not include the current calendar month.

Select [Adverse Outcome Report].

  • This will produce a list of advisories whose remedy code is any method other than your system default, usually 'RM1' - Repaired by Workshop.
