Summary
You may create and save standard text such as common delivery addresses.
More Information
This can save you valuable data entry time. You can save text as you enter it or by creating blocks using the maintenance option.
Via Logistics Maintenance
Go to " Logistics Management Maintenance Options Standard Text Amendments".
- Click [Add].
- Enter a "Description" for the text, e.g. a full name, nickname or abbreviation for a location.
- If you wish to link the text to a specific customer, enter their account code or press <Ctrl+F1> to search for a customer. Leave this field blank to make the text available to any jobs.
- At "Text Block", enter the text to save.
This is usually an address but you can use this section to record standard instructions to add to a job, e.g. specific directions for a customer premises. |
- Enter a "Contact" name if applicable.
- Enter the usual "Opening time" and "Closing time" if applicable.
- Click [Done] and [Save].
Via a Logistics Job
Whilst on any of the three text boxes displayed in the [Job Information] section, click the three dots or press <Ctrl+F1>.
- Click [Add].
- After clicking [Add], the process is identical to that above.
- Click [Choose] to load that text onto the job you are creating else click [Close].
