Summary
The following article explains how to customise the Job Planning view.
More Information
The Job Planning view screen can be customised either on a temporary basis or on a permanent basis, and for each user if necessary.
Permanent Changes
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Module Settings Logistics Management Planning Display Customisation".
Default Planning View
The "Employee" will show 'General Users'.
- Any changes you make in here will apply to all users.
- See How do I Configure my Logistics Planning? for an explanation of how to amend this screen.
Specific Employee Planning View
You may customise the planning screen for a specific employee e.g. if a user needs to see a specific field which is not necessary for or useful to other users
Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Module Settings Logistics Management Planning Display Customisation".
- Press <F5>.
- At "Employee" enter the relevant 'Employee Code'.
- Press <Ctrl+F1> and click [List].
- Select the employee in the list and click [Choose].
- Amend the fields to suit this employee.
- See How do I Configure my Logistics Planning?.
- To remove a column simply enter 0 in the "Field" column.
- Press <Esc> and [Accept] the changes.
Temporary Changes
Go to " Logistics Management Job Planning".
- Press <F2> or click [Search] to pull up a list of today's jobs.
To move a column e.g. to move the "Date" column across to the left hand side of your screen, hold down the left mouse button on the column heading to be moved.
- Drag and drop it to suit your display requirements.
See How do I Change the Order of Columns in Platinum? for more information.
