Summary
This article explains why the 'Time Remaining' amount does not always appear when running a report.
More Information
While Platinum is busy in many areas it gives a status window telling you what data it is processing. On some of the screens a progress bar and time remaining is given (after a short while) but not all status windows have this information.
The reason the progress bar is sometimes not shown is that number of data items isn't always known and Platinum can only tell you how far it is through a process if it knows the total number of data items to process.
