More Information

Go to " Sales Ledger Customer File Maintenance Add or Edit Customers" or " Purchase Ledger Supplier File Maintenance Add or Edit Suppliers".

  • This will take you to a search screen. Type either the account code or name required.
'SMI001' or the name 'John Smith'.
  • Double click on the account to which you want to add an account group or press [Edit].
  • Click on the Groups/Analysis tab.
  • It is recommended that you enter a 3 character code in CAPITAL LETTERS for the group that you wish to attach to this account.
'TRA' for Trade account.
To explain the recommendation above, the Account Group is a free-type field of up to six characters, so you will need to be consistent in what you type if you want various accounts to be in the same group. If you stick to three characters in capital letters, it is easier to keep them consistent.
  • Press <Esc> and <Enter> to accept the data.
  • Press <Esc> to return to search.
