Summary
This article explains how to add analysis codes for units. This can allow for better categorisation in reporting.
More Information
Units: Unit is a general term used to cover all types of vehicle and machinery, including items such as motorcycles, scooters, cars, trucks, vans, caravans, motorhomes, boats, tractors, ATVs, agricultural equipment, wholegoods and construction equipment. |
Go to " Unit Sales Add or Edit Units".
- This will take you to a search screen. Press <F6> or click the [New] button to add a new unit.
Or you can type in part of a registration number or unit model code or description to find an existing unit. |
- Click on the [Details] tab.
- Click in one of the "Analysis" code boxes.
The box that you choose is significant. You can have the same character in more than one box meaning different things. For example, a code of 'D' in "Analysis Code 1" could signify Demonstrator. Having a code of 'D' in "Analysis Code 2" could signify Destroyed. |
- Type a 1 Character code that relates to the analysis you require.
- Press <Shift+F10>. This will take you to the "Unit Analysis Amendment" screen.
- Type a "Description" for the "Analysis Code".
- Press <Esc> and click [Accept].
