There is an option within Platinum to have the ability to rename a Stock Code after it has been created.
In Detail
Go to "Stock Control" -> "Add or Edit Stock Items" and search for the stock code you wish to rename.
- Once found, click <Edit> to get into the stock code record.
- <Click> into the "Stock:" field.
- Press <F9>. This brings up the Rename Stock Code dialog box.
- Press <Enter> to get into the "New Stock Code:" field.
- Enter in your new Stock Code and press <Enter> and click <Yes>.
- Once the renaming has completed, press <Esc> to exit.
