This article explains how to get two (or more) copies of a printout every time you print a document or report.
Details
Go to "Systems" -> "Reports & Parameters" -> "Maintenance Options" -> "System Administrator" -> "Printing Parameters".
- At the "Print Record:", type the number of the Print Record you wish to copy and press <Enter>.
- In this example, we are going to use Print Record '01', but it is applicable to all Print Records.
- Once you are actually in the required Print Record, press <F8>. This opens a window labelled "Copy Output Records".
- You now have 5 boxes available, labelled 1-5.
- If you want one copy of the original document to come off the same printer in the same format at the same time, type the same Print Record as you chose above in "Print Record:". In this example, '01' is used.
- If you want more copies, then put the same Print Record number in Box 2,3 and so on, for the number of copies of the original that you want.
- If you want the original document printed on one printer, but the copy or copies to come off another printer, enter the 'Print Record Number' to which you want to print.
- When finished, press [OK].
- Tap <Esc> and click [Accept].
Care!: Please be aware that from this point on, all documents sent to the Print Record you have amended will always print the original plus the number of copies you have set. |
