Summary
Sell either a stocked item or a free typed text item over the counter.
Additional information
To be able to sell items out from over the counter in the platinum software, go to "Stock Control" -> "Point of Sale".
Sale Information
- The System will automatically set the account to be the 'default cash sale' account. You will need to change this to the customer who the parts are being sold to.
- At "Customer:" type in the customers account code if known,
or Search for a customer.
- At "Discount:" Enter the sale discount percentage. This discount applies to the whole sale. A discount can be applied to an individual item in its "Item Properties" by pressing <F5>.
Sale Items
- On the "Stock Code:" enter in a stock code of a part you want to sell, or Search for a stock item.
- On the "Quantity" enter the quantity of this item to be sold.
