Summary
This article explains how to customise each of the Media Managers (" Stock Media", " Unit Sales Media", e.t.c.) in Platinum Online to capture different signature types and specify a default per module.
More Information
Adding Signature Types (Disclaimers)
You can add your own custom signature types to select from when capturing a signature.
- Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Groups, Types and Categories Add or Edit Signature Types".
- Press <F6> or [Add].
- In "Signature type", enter the code e.g. 'CUS'.
- In "Description", enter a brief description to explain the signature type e.g. 'Customer Signature' (max 30 characters).
- Press <Esc> then [Accept] to accept your changes.
The new signature type will be available when you next log in to Platinum Online. If you are already logged in, you will need to log out and back in again to detect the changes.
Setting the Default Signature Type (Disclaimers)
You can specify a default signature type per module as follows:
- Go to " Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator Platinum Settings".
- Search for 'Signature'.
- Find the module for which you want to set a default, and click [Edit] on "Default signature type".
- Enter the code of the signature you wish to set as default, or alternatively click the dropdown to [Choose] from a list of codes.
- Click [OK]
- Click [Done] and [Accept] to save the changes.
The default signature type will be applied in Platinum Online the next time you log in. If you are already logged in, you will need to log out and back in again.
