Summary
Nominal Integration allows your system to account for movements of stock and units in real time. This article contains flowcharts to explain the movements that take place.
More Information
Units: Unit is a general term used to cover all types of vehicle and machinery, including items such as motorcycles, scooters, cars, trucks, vans, caravans, motorhomes, boats, tractors, ATVs, agricultural equipment, wholegoods and construction equipment. |
The Stock Control and Unit Sales modules each have the facility for posting journals automatically to the Nominal Ledger for stock movement and cost of sales. The movement of Parts through Workshop and Order Processing can also benefit from these settings.
If you have enabled the Automatic Cost of Sales features, the system will account for movements of stock and units via journals posted in the Nominal Ledger. The PDF files attached to this article are designed to guide you through the standard processes that occur.
If you have specific queries regarding your system setup, please Contact your Platinum dealer or our support team on 0116 230 1500 or by using our website support contact page for further assistance.
Please DO NOT enable Automatic Cost of Sales without consulting our Support team for advice. There are a variety of parameters and settings to check and enable to ensure the system runs smoothly. |
Stock Movements
