Summary

This article explains how to add analysis codes for vehicles. This can allow for better categorisation in reporting.

More Information

Go to " Unit Sales Add or Edit Units".

  • This will take you to a search screen. Press <F6> or click the [New] button to add a new vehicle.
Or you can type in part of a registration number or vehicle model code or description to find an existing vehicle.
  • Click on the [Details] tab.
  • Click in one of the "Analysis" code boxes.
The box that you choose is significant. You can have the same character in more than one box meaning different things. For example, a code of 'D' in "Analysis Code 1" could signify Demonstrator. Having a code of 'D' in "Analysis Code 2" could signify Destroyed.
  • Type a 1 Character code that relates to the analysis you require.
  • Press <Shift+F10>. This will take you to the "Vehicle Analysis Amendment" screen.
  • Type a "Description" for the "Analysis Code".
  • Press <Esc> and click [Accept].
