Summary

If an employee leaves and then rejoins the company, you can reinstate their old user code. This means you will not have to create another duplicate user code. This article explains how to do so.

More Information

Go into " Systems\Accounts Reports & Settings Maintenance Options System Administrator System Parameters User Maintenance".

This defaults to your user account:.

  • On the "User ID", type in the user code of the user you wish to reinstate or search for their User ID by pressing <Ctrl+F1>.
  • Press <F2> to select them.
  • Press <Enter> until you get to the "Leaving Date:" and press <C+F2> to clear this out.
  • Toggle the "User Active" to 'Y'.
  • Press <Esc> and click [Accept].

This will reinstate the user with their original Password. If this password needs changing for any reason, clicking here will take you to an article that explains how to do this.
