Summary

Sometimes when doing you RTI end of Period Submissions you can get errors in certain instances, this article explains what the most common error mean.


Error No 1

PAYROLL sending a new PR-FPS submission at 09:34 on 16/04/2013

ChRIS schema error: Value '' doesn't have the correct format (Location:

Solution

This error message is stating that the "Accounts Office Reference" is missing in the Payroll Parameters.

Solution

This error message is due to the Username in Platinum not being a "Proper" Name

E.G.: In the example above the username for the "Payroll" Login has a name of 'PAYROLL'.

To correct this you will need to change the 'Short Name' and 'Long Name' to be the name of the person that does te payroll, The 'User Code' can stay the same. For Help on how to change these names click HERE.
