== Summary ==
You may set up a customer loyalty scheme within Platinum which allows you to give customers a loyalty card which they can use to earn points and subsequently redeem those points as discounts on future purchases.

== Customer Loyalty in Platinum ==
The Customer Loyalty module currently works with the {{ST}}'s {{DataPrompt|Point of Sale}}.  See [[How do I set up a Customer Loyalty Scheme?|How do I set up a Customer Loyalty Scheme?]] for information on setting up the scheme.

== Point of Sale ==
To redeem points from a Loyalty Card in {{DataPrompt|Point of Sale}}:
* Enter all the items the customer is buying in the normal way.
* Before pressing {{Button|Checkout}}, scan the customer's loyalty card using the barcode scanner. The customer's name and the number of points available to them will be displayed.
* The number of points that are going to be earned from this sale will be displayed above the {{DataPrompt|Total:}} in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
* Click {{Button|Checkout}} to move to the {{DataPrompt|Payments}} screen.
* Click {{DataPrompt|Loyalty Points}} to pay all or part of the outstanding balance using the points the customer has previously earned. 
* Points acquired for this sale will be loaded onto the Loyalty Card after the sale has been completed.
Click {{Button|Post}} to complete the sale as normal.
